This Semester (Part 1)

What sort of word would you expect from a KK guy studying in a KK university - FUN

Maybe I'm a local and studying in a truly local university, unlike my other friends that went to Sarawak, peninsula or other countries who enjoyed the lights of places they have never seen, I myself went to a place I know best, a little bit boring if you really wanted to compare.
But why not, we have a different kind of fun, different kind of excitement, different kind of experience. It time to go around my place and know the place where I live for 20 years better.
And with my friends from TESL and golf buddies, hey, the fun just keep coming, I just love you all fellow TESLians. We had a great time together during our first semester and we do not stop there, we still have 7 semesters to go....(haha)...let us just enjoy our study and fun too.

Speaking Assignment 1 a.k.a Tambunan fun
we just love Tambunan, Billy's place, the people, the environment, and almost everything else.
Thanks Billy, Stacey, Audrey & Jude, hmm.....Jude just miss that place...haha

MV Doulos visit
was only the part of the day's trip, we went to Karamunsing, Tg Aru before ended up in MV Doulos, the 100 year-old ship with a lot of useful books. For me, it was the 2nd time visit and it was as memorable as the first one in 2007. Thanks again Billy, Zoey, Stacey and Audrey......

(To be Continued....)

June & July 2009...(Part 2)

During MSM & My registration (eventually the pc crashed)

My room - The bed and desk (where i suffered)
My first day as TESLian - with Billy & Jude

Jun & July 2009...(Part 1)

It all started on the 19th June, it was just a normal morning outing with Elson in the badminton court of FooChow Association, but none of us were concentratin on the game, in our hearts and minds, the only thing was what is to come at 11am that morning. It was the annoucement of the enrollment into local universities. We all were anticipated to know what our future would look like.
Armed with Elson's Ipod Touch, we went to KFC at City Mall to go online. It all became clear, Elson got civil engineering in UTHM, then mine was highly localised, i got into UMS for Education, though my mine second choice, TESL, i was happy enough to even get a place in local university, my STPM result was not so good.
Knowing that result, the first thing I did was preparing all the documents needed for the registration. I followed all by the book. After 6 months of holiday, finally i will start study again.
26 June was the date and I need to register for the residential college, although I had been live in KK for 20 years, I just had that odd feeling of going inside there and live there, the feeling disturbed me for quite some time that day. I registered and still had a chance to watch my friend performing in the choir at the reccital hall, just a short walk inside the campus.
27 June started early when we were needed to register the enrollment. Funny morning happened before i finally registered as 4000 students line up to register, I was in the middle front of the queue but still, i queued for nearly 2 hours to finally registered. I was in.
The following week was just some boring but important talks about the university and its system. Though boring, i paid attention all the way to the end of the talk on Thursday. Friday was not a pleasent day went we were registering for the courses, the library packed with students and computer problems led to chaos. After failing to register at the library, i went back to my own home to register my courses, how sad...
The semester lectures finally started on the 6 July and my life had been tranformed ever since......
(To be continued.......)

7 months...

Yes, i know, 7 months since i updated anything on this blog, maybe even being forgotten in the blogging world. Yeah I am back, bringing along a boring mood, obviously got nothing else to do. Thus time ti write a few essays (Hahaha).
But no kidding, this 7 months had been a busy time for me to start off a new life and meet some new friends. Well, since the last time i made an entry, I'd got into the university, studying Education, in Malaysia, means you will be a future teacher. University life was a totally new thing for me, English some more, oh thats going to be real challenging, but looking back at the starting point of my university life, I started reflecting on what is to be the greatest experience so far, minus a few bad ones.
So now i decided to do some catching up and updating all my dear friends about what i've done in the past 7 months. hopefully i can do this before the second semester starts on 28 dec.

Wesak Day, Mothers' Day and a lot to think....

I am very sorry i didn't keep this thing updated, too much work and too much wasting time..

I am back anyway...A Different Revolution...

Happy Wesak Day for all buddhist and today Happy Mothers' Day for my mum and all the mums in the world, they have sacrifice so much for us, the younger generations and we give our biggest love to them...

This few weeks had been a very blurred couple of weeks, i had my MEdSI test, spent a lot of time at home, and i really mean a lot; travlled to few places and spent some time with my family, bicycle, and friends...(haha)

i felt a bit sorry for a few friends that i haven't been able to help much when they ask for help and i have done few bits mistakes helping some...but i will continue to do my best in life and ultimately help as much as I can.

Tomorrow is the announcement of the interview for Education courses in the university, i pretty hope i will be shortlisted and i will do my best to take on the interview. My compassion for education has never died and i hoped to live my dream as an educator and an environmentalist.

I would like thank also some friends that made me realised that I should let go of the past and look forward to the future and that is the thing I will do now...working efficiently and think carefully..

Happy Days =)

Trip to Manukan Island

First of all, I apologise for being so late to make a post but I just beginning to have time for all this blogging work.

On the 5 Dec, its was a nice sunny morning, and thank God, because the night before is still raining. We prepared all our things and head out to the most beautiful island park in Sabah, Manukan. We have 17 of us including our teacher, means more than half of the class were there.
We went to the boarding first where the girls prepared all the food we would bring to the island, I help with the sandwiches, but didn't help must though because they have prepared them earlier. The girls are really quick. (haha)

We head off to the Jetty and got on the boat after a couple of minutes at the pier, We're off, I haven't went to any island for nearly 10 years, so its a bit exciting. We reached the Island after a few minutes of bumpy ride, nobody throw off though, thats how tough we are......

The weather was extremely good and as soon as they see the beach, everyone is electrified and straight off to the water. I stayed out the water and went exploring with Elson and Sheah Ling, We went to the back side of the island and found a beautiful rocky beach, so we took pictures there and the view was quite scenic.

Well, I was totally impressed with the view. Then we have a walk to the other side (far side) of the island and taught it was a 1.5 km walk and thats all but none of us knew that we have to made a trip back of the same distance..ouch...the walkway was up and down and slippery. And the funniest thing is at the end of the walk its only a small shed named sunset point, we were there at 12 o'clock...haha....get it??!!! we were exhausted but it was a nice experience...haha...we also had a chance to see a few lizards ...hahaha....

Back to the sandy beach, well everyone got into the water, even I couldn't resist the magnet pull by the crytal clear water...haha....and got fishes too...some of them went snorkeling and some of them just playing water...its really fun...I left the water and went to jalan jalan again to take pictures with yu shiong...we took a lot of pics of scenic views....nice...

Lunch Time!!! They all back from bath and we have lunch together. There were so much food we couldn't finish them all...We sit together on the bench and all of us have fun.

The cloud at the far side is building up and a storm might be coming, so we left early at 2pm and the trip back was not as bumpy as the first and we reached the pier in a short time.
Well that concludes our farewell trip, appreciations goes to everyone who made everything happen on the 5th and i hope many trip such as this will be planned so that we all have fun together....Peace yo...Friends Forever.....U6Sc 2008 Forever....

The Shock of 3 Papers

The STPM has started on 18 Nov 2008 with General Paper 2 and Chemistry Paper 2
It was a true shock that the papers are truely different from the pass years, format wise that is...
I do not understand the strange calm before the start of the papers...1st was PA, hmm... i felt is ok when i was answering it and felt a promising feeling towards the coming papers, i.e. Chemistry and maths. Chemistry falled on the same day as PA, not a true suprise when i began to answer it, then comes the second page and the the third, forth, fifth, my God, what the hell.... it seemed like i never attend a chemistry class, i began to feel the pressure but still tried to answer those questions...ok...now, chemistry is used to be my favorite subject and i have a faith in myself that the paper was well secured...but the opposite had happened...my God, the first thing that poped up in my mind was what the image of my chemistry teacher, Pn. Goh, I felt truly sorry for her, I have done my best and i will accept whatever result. A lesson learnt !!!

Then came the maths paper, which i really do not have any confidence, came well short of my own expectations when i even couldn't finish all the question. I felt pretty bad about it and it still haunted me, even in my dreams, that how bad i regreted for not working diligently....

1 week of break and then comes physics 2 and maths 2 which i promised that i will sacrifice anything for the coming 5 papers ( the other 3 will be PA 1, Chem 1 and Physics 1), i will fight towards the end of my physics paper 1 on the 4 dec....The reward?? Not only that i will have a trip to the island on the 5 Dec, but the most important is the satisfacton of my effort...no matter what is the result that will come out in the middle of March 2009.

I really do not want to dissapoint my teacher espcecially those who put so high hope on me even before i entered form 6. I do hope they will be pleased and understand even i only manage to pass all the subject. Sorry, teachers, i have no more appetite for A's now... I just pray for my survival in this exam and do my extra best...................
